Mobile and Web Platform for Automotive Management

Challenges

Flow Automotive, a leading automotive group with more than 50 franchises in southeastern US, offers the full spectrum of automotive service and retail sales. Serving thousands of customers throughout the ten cities it serves, the company aimed to expand their offerings by launching a fully featured mobile application and modernizing its website.

One of the key challenges was creating an intuitive and engaging mobile app for both iOS and Android that would enable users to easily register, verify their identity and vehicles, and manage service visits. In parallel, the website required a complete overhaul, in terms of design and functionality, ensuring it could better support user needs. Another challenge was the seamless integration of multiple third-party systems to handle car registration, identity verification, and digital documentation, all while ensuring high performance and a smooth user experience.

Solutions

To meet these challenges, we took a phased approach that prioritized both speed and quality. In the first phase, we developed a mobile app from the ground up using Swift UIKit for iOS and Kotlin for Android, following robust architectural patterns. At the core of the app is a personalized user account system that allows for streamlined access to essential features, including vehicle registration and verification, service visit scheduling, real-time notifications, and even management of family members within the same account.

The app also integrates third-party services to automate identity and vehicle verification, enhancing security and efficiency. In the second phase, we redesigned and rebuilt the client’s website, focusing heavily on modern UX/UI practices.

Impact

Our collaboration with Flow Automotive has resulted in a robust and scalable digital platform that continues to evolve. Advanced functionalities like car valuation, trade-in options, credit payment calculators, and loyalty rewards programs have further enhanced the user journey.
