What is ISO?
ISO is an International Organization for Standardization, that develops and publishes a wide range of different standards for various industries. One of them is ISO 27001:2013, also known as Information Security Management System.
What is Information Security Management System?
ISO/IEC 27001:2013 specifies the requirements for “establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an information security management system within the context of the organization. It also includes requirements for the assessment and treatment of information security risks tailored to the needs of the organization”.
Solbeg has been assessed and found to be in accordance with the security management requirements in ISO 27001:2013. This assessment and certification were conducted in accordance with all auditing and certification procedures.
Why ISO 27001:2013 is important?
It indicates that our company is reliable service provider and guarantees the high-level of information security and quality of the product. In addition, this proves that we assure the implementation of the business continuity plan and responsibility for the safety of any customer information. Solbeg demonstrated that company is aimed to improve the level of employee awareness about possible security vulnerabilities and adequate response methods, as well as develop professional IT and Certification Departments.
We will continue to improve the information security system – introduce new technical and organizational solutions, review and make information security documents available to the employees on our internal portal, prepare training information security materials for the Onboarding process, etc.
